Bombay High Court is inviting Online application form from eligible candidates for 4447 posts of — Stenographer (LG), Junior Clerk and Peon for preparing Select List/ Wait List of the candidates on the establishment of the District Court. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online within below prescribed date. Qualification norms, eligibility criteria and brief details is given below —
BOMBAY HIGH COURT INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 4447 Nos. STENOGRAPHER, JR. CLERK AND PEON. LAST DATE: 22/07/2013.
1. STENOGRAPHER (LOWER GRADE)
Number of Vacancies: 321 Nos. The vacancies are further breaks up into District Courts wise.
Qualification: Minimum SSC Board examination passed. Preference will be given to the candidates who have done Graduate and Law Graduates
Candidates must have passed Government Commercial Certificate Examination, or examination conducted by Government Board or I. T. I of Shorthand speed of 100 words per minute and minimum English typing speed of 40 words per minute and Marathi Typing with speed of 30 w.p.m. and Marathi Shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m.
Candidates must possess computer knowledge certificate.
2. JUNIOR CLERK
Number of Vacancies: 2888 Nos. The vacancies are further breaks up into District Courts wise.
Qualification: Minimum SSC Board examination passed. Preference will be given to the candidates who have done Graduate and Law Graduates
Candidates must have passed Government Commercial Certificate Examination, or examination conducted by Government Board or I. T. I. for English Typing with speed of 40 w.p.m. and Marathi Typing with speed of 30 w.p.m.
Candidates must possess computer knowledge certificate.
3. PEON
Number of Vacancies: 1238 Nos. The vacancies are further breaks up into District Courts wise.
Qualification: Class VII pass. Candidates must have good physique.
Age Limit (For all posts): Candidates should be between 18yrs to 33yrs as on 08.07.2013. Upper age relaxation for OBC/ SC/ ST/SBC is 5yrs and 12yrs to PH candidates.

Candidates may apply for more than one posts and for several districts (Option for such is available on the form itself) but recruitment will be held on the same day and time in all District.
Candidates must not submit more than one application.
During online application, candidates will require to upload their scan copy of passport size photograph and signature which should be in jpg/ jpeg format and should not exceed 40KB (each) in size.
After successful submission of online application, candidates are not required to send any hard copy of application or documents to anywhere. Verification of such documents will be done during Interview.
Hall tickets will be issued to the shortlisted candidates only. Candidates may download the same from dated 3rd August,2013
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test (Objective type questions) and Practical Test (Typing/ Shorthand/ Computer test), as applicable. See the Advt. link given below for details.
Finally, qualified candidates will be called for Interview. During Interview, candidates will require to produce all their documents/ testimonials in original along with attested copies (attestation by Gazetted Officer).
