Delhi Postal Circle Recruitment 2013 For 458 Postman/ Mail guard ..

India Post, Delhi Circle, is recruiting 458 Postman / Mailguard. Interested and eligible applicant may apply on prescribed application format within 16.08.2013. Selection of the candidates will be purely on merit basis which will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Aptitude Test separately for each category. Qualification norms and brief details is given below —

DELHI POSTAL CIRCLE IS RECRUITING 458 POSTMAN / MAILGUARD. APPLY ON PRESCRIBED FORMAT WITHIN 16/08/2013. 

1. Postman/ Mailguard: 458 Nos. (Gen—254; SC—36; ST—64; OBC—104). Out of total vacancies, 19 for PH candidates and 45 for Ex-servicemen.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board.

Age Limit: Between 18 yrs to 27 yrs as on 16-08-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others - As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000 plus other allowances as per norms.

Probation Period: 2 years.

Selection of the candidates will be through Aptitude Test of the level of Class 10/ Matriculation comprising of following four parts with total marks of 100.
Part A — 25 marks. 25 questions on G.K, Reasoning and Analytical Ability (Objective type/ Multiple choice)
Part B — 25 marks. 25 Question of Mathematics (Objective type/ Multiple choice)
Part C (in two segments)
— (i) 25 marks. 25 Questions on English Language (Objective type/ Multiple choice)
— (ii) 25 marks. 25 Question on Hindi Language (Objective type/ Multiple choice)

How to Apply: Apply on prescribed application format with Self-addressed envelope (9x4 inches) with affixed postal stamp of Rs.17/- for candidates residing within Delhi and Rs.40/- for candidates residing outside Delhi.
Candidates must not enclose any documents with the Application form except the self-addressed envelope as said above and 2 identical passport size photographs pasted on the space provided in the form.
