The tenure of the contract appointment shall depend upon the duration of the Project.
1. Name of the Post: Specialized Laboratory Technician
2. No. of post: 1 (One)
3. Qualification: M.Sc in Microbiology/Biotechnology from a recognized Institution/University.
4. Experience: Working experience in specialized virology Laboratory and Molecular characterization of viruses.
5. Consolidated pay:~ 15,000/- per month (fixed).

General Information:
1. The minimum age limit for contract appointment is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 62 years.
2. The crucial date for determination of eligibility with regard to age, educational qualification and experience etc will be the date the candidates appear for interview.
3. Candidates who do not fulfil any of the above conditions will not be allowed to appear for the interview under any circumstances.
4. The recruitment of the Laboratory Technician is exclusively for a specific period depending upon the duration of the project.
5. No accommodation will be provided.
6. The terms and conditions of contract appointment shall be governed by the contractual bond of Agreement agreed upon by this office and the employee concerned.
7. Selected candidate will have to undergo medical examination before joining the post.
8. No TA/ DA will be paid for appearing the interview

How To Apply : Eligible and interested candidates are requested to present themselves for registration between 9:00 am and 10:00 am at the Director’s Administrative Block, NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong on the above mentioned d<Jte and bring all their relevant documents (in original) i.e. Birth Certificate, Educational qualification, experience certificates and caste certificates, if any and also a set of attested copies of the certificates. They will have to fill in the particulars in the prescribed application form which will be provided by the Institute and enclosed the relevant documents. Candidates are to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before coming for the walk-in interview.
