Central Ordnance Depot Dehu Road, Pune requires 44 LDC, Barber, Packer, Mazdoor, etc. Last Dt. 12/10/2012

Under Ministry of Defence — Central Ordnance Depot, Dehu Road, Pune is inviting application for 44 Nos. posts of Lower Division Clerk, Barber, Packer, Sawyer, Messenger and Mazdoor. Eligible and interested candidates may apply for the post on prescribed application format. Qualification requirement and eligibility norms in brief is given below given —

CENTRAL ORDNANCE DEPOT, DEHU ROAD, PUNE, REQUIRES 44 LOWER DIVISION CLERK (LDC), BARBER, PACKER, SAWYER, MESSENGER AND MAZDOOR. APPLY WITHIN 21 DAYS.

NAME OF THE POSTS AND NO. OF VACANCIES:

1. Lower Division Clerk: 7 posts. (Gen—3; SC—1; OBC—3). Out of them 1 Nos. for Ex-Serviceman.

Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) pass and with minimum speed of 30 words per minute  in English Typewriting.

2. Barber: 2 Nos. (Gen)

Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent with proficiency in Barber’s work.

3. Packer: 3 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—2)

Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent and with ITI Trade certificate or 3 years of experience in the trade.

4. Sawyer: 1 Nos. (OBC)

Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent and with ITI Trade certificate or 3yrs of experience in the trade.

5. Messenger: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1). Out of them 1nos. for PH candidate.

Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent.

6. Mazdoor: 29 Nos. (Gen—14; OBC—15) out of them 3nos. for PH and 2nos. for Ex-Serviceman.

Qualification:  Madhyamik pass or equivalent.

Candidates will be shortlisted on basis of performance in educational and trade qualification. For LDC posts; candidates will have to sit for Typing test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test and Interview.

Exact Date of Written Test/ Interview will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates only in due course through Call letters.

Interview/Written Test/ Typing Test will be at – Central Ordnance Depot, Dehu Road, Pune—412 101 (Maharashtra).

Age Limits: between 18yrs to 25yrs as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; PH—10yrs; Ex-Serviceman, Meritorious Sportsperson and Others—as per norms.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates must apply on prescribed application or can be typed neatly on plain paper as per format.

Enclose documents and testimonials in support of eligibility such as – Educational Certificates, Caste certificates, PH/Discharge certificates, Age proof documents, Sports certificate (in case of sportsperson) and Etc.
