West Bengal State Council of Science and Technology, Kolkata-91, is recruiting 11 Nos. “Senior Research Fellow” and “Junior Research Fellow” on contract basis. WEST BENGAL STATE COUNCIL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (DEPT. OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY), KOLKATA-91, REQUIRES 11 SENIOR AND JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW ON CONTRACT BASIS.

1. Senior Research Fellow: 4 Nos.
Qualification: Master’s Degree (1st Class) in Geography /Geology/ Applied Geology/ Agriculture & Soil Science/ Environmental Science/ Remote Sensing & GIS/ B.E. Civil (with specialisation in Water Resource Management)
Experience: Minimum 2yrs in preparation of various theme maps using RS & GIS techniques.
Desirable: PG Diploma in Geo-informatics as well as NET or GATE qualified candidates is desirable.
Consolidated pay: Rs.16400/- per month.

2. Junior Research Fellow: 7 Nos.
Qualification: Master's degree (1st Class) in Geography /Geology/ Applied Geology/ Agriculture & Soil Science/ Environmental Science/ Remote Sensing & GIS/ B.E. Civil (with specialisation in Water Resource Management)
Experience: Nil
Desirable: PG Diploma in Geo-informatics as well as NET or GATE qualified candidates is desirable. Experienced candidates in preparation of various theme maps using RS &  GIS is also desirable.
Consolidated pay: Rs.14100/- per month.

Age Limits: maximum 35yrs as on 01/01/2012. Age will be relaxed further on basis of Qualification of the candidates and periods of experience.
