Notice for Document Verification

On the basis of PET conducted from 08-10-2012 to 19-10-2012 and on 30-10-2012 for the above recruitment, candidates bearing the following Roll Numbers/Control Numbers are being called for verification of their original documents, i.e. original certificates in support of their educational qualification, proof of age, community (SC/ST/OBC) etc, tallying the same with details and documents submitted in their original application, and checking their admit card, photograph, signature and handwriting etc.

The candidates are directed to report for the said verification from 15.11.2012 onwards as per schedule given, to Railway Recruitment Cell, DRM’s Office Compound, Hubballi – 580 020.

                                                E.N.No.02/2010: Physical Efficiency Test(PET)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) commenced from 08.10.2012.PET could not be continued due to heavy rain in the afternoon on 08.10.2012.Those who reported for PET in the After Noon session of 08.10.12 were registered and some of them could not be subjected to PET.

On 09.10.12 also PET could not be resumed due to wet condition of the ground and no candidates were registered on that day.

 Now, the PET for those were registered and not subjected for PET on 08.10.12 (AN) and those scheduled/called on 09.10.2012 will be held on 30.10.2012.Call letters for them are being dispatched by post.

If any of the above candidates do not receive call letters they may attend Railway Recruitment Cell, South Western Railway, Hubli and collect duplicate call letters on 29.10.2012 and attend PET on 30.10.2012.

Employment Notice No. 02/2010

1.As a result of written examinations held on 6^th, 13^th, & 27^th May 2012 and 3^rd, 10^th & 24^th June 2012, a Provisional (Part) Select List of 95 successful Physically Handicapped candidates is issued as under indicating the Control Numbers, Roll numbers, names and post allotted. The list is arranged in the ascending order of Control Nos and not in the order of merit.

2.Candidates may note that the number of vacancies considered for the recruitment include vacancies notified in Emp. Notice No.2/2010 and backlog vacancies.

3.The Provisional (Part) Select List is part of the General panel being formed which includes General as well as PH candidates.This Provisional (Part) Select List is being formed/published before the general panel in terms of Railway Board directives in order to adhere to the time schedule as per Hon’ble Court’s directives.Final merit position as well as seniority will be determined on the basis of position of each candidate in the final panel as and when issued and not on the basis of date of joining the working post.

4.Posts have been allotted to the candidates keeping in view of the no. of vacancies in each disability group, merit of the candidate, Medical fitness and the physical condition of the candidates, in terms of extant instructions. Allotment of Divisions/Units will be done later and offers of appointment will be sent to selected candidates by Divisions/Units to which they may be allotted.

5.The Divisions/Units to which candidates are allotted may make further checks regarding genuineness of the candidates and certificates submitted by them.In case any irregularity is found at any stage, Railway administration reserves the right to cancel the candidature or appointment of such candidates.

6.If any error is noticed in the Provisional (Part) Select List, administration reserves the right to make corrections, which may result in either exclusion or inclusion of candidates, if found essential.

Employment Notice No.02/2010 (Group – D recruitment) Vacancies: 3007 – Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

As a result of Written Examinations held on 6^th, 13^th & 27^th May – 2012 and 3^rd, 10^th & 24^thJune – 2012, a Provisional List of candidates qualified to appear in Physical Efficiency Test (PET) has been uploaded in South Western Railway website: www.swr.indianrailways.gov.in.on 15.08.2012

PET is scheduled to be held from 08.10.2012 to 19.10.2012 at Railway Sports Ground, Club Road, Keshwapur, Hubli – 580020.The PET will be a qualifying test in which male candidates have to run 1500 meters in 6 minutes and female candidates have to run 400 meters in 3 minutes. Individual call letters to the candidates are being despatched. Candidates also can checkup their date of PET from SWR website: www.swr.indianrailways.gov.in.

Enquires from candidates regarding non-receipt of call letters, any discrepancies on call letters etc., will be entertained at Railway Recruitment Cell/Hubli from 04.10.2012 to 06.10.2012from 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM.Candidates have to attend PET in their nominated dates.No request for change of date or another chance to appear in the PET will be entertained.

       

The complete PET of each candidate will be videographed and monitored by observers and committee of officers on the field.There is no scope for any help in PET.Candidates may beware of persons promising success in PET by any other means.

Employment Notice No.2/2010 (Group – D Recruitment) Vacancies: 3007

1.As a result of written examinations held on 6^th, 13^th & 27^th May 2012 and 3^rd, 10^th & 24^th June 2012, a Provisional List of successful candidates selected to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test(PET) indicating the Control Nos. Roll Nos. & Names of candidates is given below.The list is in the ascending order of Control Numbers, and not in order of merit (Annexure – A).

2.Administration reserves the right to make additions or deletions in this list, due to any reason,which may lead to either exclusion or inclusion of candidates.

3.The PET is scheduled to be held between 08.10.12 and 19.10.12 tentatively. The exact date, venue and time of PET will be made known to candidates by way of call letters which will be despatched one month before the commencement of the PET. Candidates to the extent of three times the number of vacancies are being called, wherever available. Merely being called for PET does not entitle candidates to be selected.Final list of selected candidates will be based on merit order of candidates in the written exams, out of those who qualify in the PET.

4.PET is only a qualifying test in which male candidates have to run 1500 meters in 6 minutes and female candidates have to run 400 meters in 3 minutes.

5.The list of candidates who qualified against Physically Handicapped Quota (PHQ) has also been uploaded (Annexure – B).As there is no PET for PHQ (PWD) candidates, they are being called directly for Document Verification between 3.9.12 to 7.9.12 at RRC/Hubli.

6.Individual call letters are being sent to PHQ (PWD) candidates indicating date, time and venue for document verification.They must compulsorily bring the following original documents for verification:

(1)Proof of date of birth (2) 10^th class pass/ITI or Equivalent certificate (3) Certification of Physical Disability (in prescribed proforma as given in notification) and (4) SC/ST/OBC certificate, wherever applicable (in prescribed proforma as given in notification).

7.PHQ (PWD) candidates’ Document Verification (DV) will be done as per the schedule indicated.Such candidates may note that even if they do not receive call letter for DV, they may attend the DV at RRC/Hubli on the scheduled dates.

8.PHQ (PWD) candidates found suitable during document verification will be directed for medical examination.They should come prepared to stay 2-3 days besides the day of Document Verification at their own expense.

REMARKS CODE :

1.Candidates declared medically unfit in all categories.Provision regarding appeal is being communicated to such candidates individually by post.On appeal and re-medical if they are found fit at a later date, they will be provided post as per their merit, medical fitness and availability of vacancies.
