High Court at Calcutta, Original Side, is recruiting 2 Nos. Assistant Registrar (from legal profession) on the Original Side of the Hon’ble Court against permanent vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribedApplication Form within below scheduled date. Qualification norms and information in brief is given below—

HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA, ORIGINAL SIDE, REQUIRES 2 ASSISTANT REGISTRAR (FROM LEGAL PROFESSION) AGAINST PERMANENT VACANCIES. LAST DATE: 15TH JANUARY 2013.

1. Assurance Registrar (From legal profession): 2 Nos.

Qualification: Candidate must be a Law Graduate and a Practising Advocate having knowledge of the vernacular of the State of West Bengal and should be well versed in Law including the High Court Original Side Rules, Procedural Laws, English and General Knowledge.

Age Limits: within 32 years as on last date of application form. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs; OBC—3yrs; PH—10yrs and others—as per norms.

Pay scale: Rs.15600—Rs.5400 and Grade pay: Rs.5400/-

How to Apply: Applications in prescribed format are to be submitted stating Full Name, Father’s/Husband’s Name, Postal Address, Age, Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Date of Enrolment with Bar Council of West Bengal with all the supporting documents and particulars in details about the experience of legal work accompanied by (i) three recent passport size photographs (one to be affixed at the top right corner of theapplication and other two to be stitched with the application); (ii) two self-addressed (with pin code) envelopes without stamp; (iii) duly attested legible copies of proper documents/testimonials as proof of his/her claim and (iv)Examination fee in form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) .

Examination fee: Rs.150/- (Rs.100 in case of SC/ST/OBC/ PH) through crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) and endorsed to — “The Registrar, Original Side, High Court at Calcutta”, payable at G.P.O., Kolkata.
The candidates for the post of Assistant Registrar will be required to appear in separate Written Test (of 150 marks) and viva-voce examination on the above mentioned subjects.

Date, time and venue of Examination/ Test will be intimated in due course along with Admit Card.
