Office of the District Judge of Darjeeling – Judgeship of Darjeeling is recruiting 15 candidates in the post of – Lower Division Clerk, Typist/ Copiest, Process Server, Office Peon and Sweeper. Eligible candidates may submit their application at the below prescribed address. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —

JUDGESHIP OF DARJEELING REQUIRES 15 LOWER DIVISION CLERK, TYPIST/ COPIEST, PROCESS SERVER, PEON AND SWEEPER. LAST DATE: 08TH MARCH 2013.

1. Lower Division Clerk (Group C): 5 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—1; ST—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass with computer knowledge
Pay scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade pay: Rs.2600/-

2. Typist/ Copyist (Group C): 1nos. (General)
Qualification and pay scale: Same as above.

3. Process Server (Male candidates only) (Group D): 6 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC-A—1; SC—2)
Qualification: Class VIII pass.
Pay scale: Rs.4900—16200 and Grade pay: Rs.1700/-

4. Office Peon (Group D): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification and pay scale: Same as above post.

5. Sweeper (Group D): 2 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1)
Qualification and Pay scale: Same as above post.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview. For the post of Typist/ Copyist, there will be also Typing test. For the post of Sweeper- the selection will be though Interview only.

Age Limits: Maximum 37yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.

Apply on plain paper mentioning your complete Bio-Data containing the below given information.

The Application Form along with duly attested copies of testimonials and certificates, 2 Nos. passport size photographs (one pasted on the Application Form), one self-addressed envelope with postage stamp of Rs.25/- and Application fee in form of Bank pay-in-Slip.

Application fee: Deposit Rs.200/- for LDC and Typist/ Copyist (Rs.50 for SC/ST) and Rs.100 for Group-D posts (Rs.25 in case of SC/ST) in the Account No. 00000031857267119, State Bank of India, Darjeeling branch (Code No. 00063) of District Judge, Darjeeling, West Bengal.

Last Date of Application: Application form must rech on or before 8th March 2013 at the following address – The District Judge, Darjeeling.
The Application Form can be also dropped in the drop-box kept in the Office with last date.
