STENOGRAPHERS, LDC, PROCESS SERVER, GROUP D POSTS IN JUDGESHIP OF PASCHIM MEDINIPUR, JALPAIGURI, HOWRAH, BIRBHUM AND CITY CIVIL COURT OF CALCUTTA AND PRESIDENCY SMALL CAUSES COURT, CALCUTTA.
VACANCIES IN JUDGESHIP OF PASCHIM MEDINIPUR (WEST BENGAL )
1. English Stenographer (Group B): 18 Nos.2. Lower Division Clerk (Group C): 22 Nos.
3. Process Server (Summons Bailiff – Group-C): 2 Nos.
4. Group-D: 9 Nos.
Qualification Required:—
For posts in Group B and C categories—candidates must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent and a certificate course in computer training. Moreover, (i) For LDC post—Knowledge in type writing in English is preferable (ii) For Stenographer – minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 30 words per minute in typewriting in English as well as Certificate in computer training and satisfactory fingering speed in computer operation is required.
For Group-D vacancies—Class VIII pass certificate or equivalent.
VACANCIES IN JUDGESHIP OF JALPAIGURI (WEST BENGAL )

Qualification Required:—
For posts in Group-B & C category—Candidates must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent and must have Certificate in Computer training and a satisfactory fingering speed in computer operation. Moreover, (i) for L.D.C., knowledge in type-writing in English is preferable (ii) for English Typist-Copyist, a minimum typing speed is 30 w.p.m. in English (iii) for English Stenographer, a minimum speed @ 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand and a minimum speed @ 30 w.p.m. in typewriting and also at least a Certificate in Computer Training and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer operation. (iv) For Bengali Stenographer (Basic Grade), a minimum typing speed @ 20 w.p.m. in Bengali and a minimum speed @ 60 w.p.m. in Bengali shorthand and also knowledge in computer operation are required.
For Group-D category other than sweeper: Candidates must have class VIII pass certificate or equivalent.
For Night Guard, the candidates should have sound health and good physique.
For the post of Sweeper, the candidates must have ability to read and write Bengali.
VACANCIES IN JUDGESHIP AT HOWRAH (WEST BENGAL)
1. English Stenographer (Group-B): 8 Nos.2. Lower Division Clerk (Group-C): 24 Nos.
3. Peon/ Day Guard/ Night Guard/ Farash (Group-D): 34 Nos.
Qualification Required:—
For Group B & C category, the candidate must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent and at least a Certificate in Computer Training and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer Operation. Moreover, i) for L.D.C, knowledge in type writing in English is preferable. ii) for English Stenographer a minimum speed @ 80w.p.m. in Shorthand and a minimum Speed @ 30 w.p.m in typewriting in English and a Certificate in Computer Training with a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer Operation are required.
In respect of Group-D category (other than Sweeper) : The Candidate must have class VIII pass certificate.
For Sweeper: Candidates must have ability to read and write Bengali.

Qualification Required:—

Qualification Required:—
For all Group-B and C category—Candidates must be Madhyamik pass or equivalent and shall have Certificate in Computer Training and a Satisfactory fingering speed in Computer Operation. Moreover, (I) for L.D.C. — knowledge in type-writing in English is preferable (ii) for Stenographer — minimum speed @ 80 w.p.m in Shorthand and a minimum speed @ 30 w.p.m in typewriting.
For Group D posts—Candidates must have Class-VIII pass certificate or equivalent.

Qualification Required:—
For LDC—Candidates must have Madhyamik pass certificate or equivalent and knowledge of computers along with satisfactory fingering speed.
For Seal Bailiff – Candidates must have Madhyamik pass certificate or equivalent. The candidates must have good physique and personality.
For Summons Bailiff – Candidates must be class – VIII pass.
For Peon/ Orderly/ Dufftry: Candidates must have Class-VIII pass certificate
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 37yrs/40yrs as on 01/01/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs; OBC—3yrs; PWD—10yrs and others—as per Govt. norms.
