West Bengal — District - Dakshin Dinajpur is recruiting “Anganwadi Karmee/ ICDS Worker” and “Anganwadi Sahayika/ ICDS Assistant” for Balurghat (Town) and Kumarganj Block. Only female candidates may apply. The engagement to the posts are on voluntary basis and is not be taken as permanent government job. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —

ICDS RECRUITMENT — ANGANWADI KARMEE AND ANGANWADI SAHAYIKA FOR BALURGHAT (TOWN) AND KUMARGANJ BLOCK OF DISTRICT DAKSHIN DINAJPUR. LAST DATE: 21/03/2013.

1. ANGANWADI KARMEE: 111 Nos.
Kumarganj Block : 57 Nos. (Gen—29; PH—2; SC—12; ST—03; Backward Class- A – 6; Backward Class – B—5)
Balurghat (Town): 54 Nos. (Gen—26; PH—2; SC—12; ST—04; BC-A—06; BC-B — 04)

Qualification Required: Madhyamik or equivalent pass. (Class-VIII pass for SC/ST candidates)
Honourium: Rs.3000 & including pay – Rs.1350 for Madhyamik or equivalent pass candidates AND Rs.2938 & including pay – Rs.1350 for Class-VIII pass candidates.

2. ANGANWADI SAHAYIKA: 140 Nos.
Kumarganj Block: 110 Nos. (Gen—54; PH—04; SC—23; ST—06; BC-A – 10; BC-B –13)
Balurghat (Town): 30 Nos. (Gen—14; PH—1; SC—7; ST—2; BC-A— 03; BC-B— 03)

Qualification Required: Class- IV pass.
N.B: Madhyamik or equivalent pass candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. Candidates who have appeared for Madhyamik examination but result are not yet declared then she may apply. If any candidates hides her qualification (Madhyamik pass or above qualification) then she will be dismissed from the job, if found.
Honourium: Rs.1500 and including pay—Rs.1350 per month

Age Limits (For both posts): Between 18yrs to 45yrs as on 01/02/2013. Upper age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.

Candidates must be permanent residents of the project area/ gram panchayat area.
Selection of the candidates will be through – Written examination of 80 marks and Oral examination of 20 marks (For Anganwadi Karmee) and Examination for ability test to read, write in Bengali and Oral examination of 50 marks (for Anganwadi Sahayika)
