Central Industrial Security Force requires 1654 Constables/Driver. Last Dt. 09/04/2013

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is recruiting 1654 candidates for the temporary posts of – Constable (Driver) in CISF. Only male candidates along who meets the below mentionedeligibility criteria may apply on the prescribed application form. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent Qualification norms and brief information is given below —

CONSTABLE – DRIVER
No. of Vacancies (including Backlog vacancies): 1654 Nos. (Gen—503; SC—424; ST—138; OBC—268 and Ex-Serviceman—321)

Qualification Required: Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized board. Candidates must possess valid Driving Licence for Light Vehicles, Heavy Vehicles and Motor cycle with gear.
Experience: minimum 3yrs of experience of driving Heavy vehicle/ light vehicle and Motor cycle as on 09-04-2013.

Physical Standards —
Height—167cms (160cms for ST and candidates from Hill areas)
Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 80cms—85cms (76cms—81cms for ST categories and 78—83cms for Hill area candidates)
Eye Sight: The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction
Weight: As per medical standard according to height and age.

Age Limits: Between 21yrs to 27yrs as on 09-04-2013. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs, Ex-serviceman and any other categories—as per norms.

The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent. Only male candidates may apply. Selected candidates will be posted anywhere in India.

Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Efficiency Test, Written Test and Trade test.
Physical Efficiency Test:—
(i) Run 800 Meters to be completed in 3 minutes and 15 Seconds.
(ii) Long Jump — 11 feet (Candidate will be given 3 chances)
(iii) High Jump — 3 feet 6 inches (Candidate will be given 3 chances)
Qualified candidates will be called for Written test and then Trade Test. Finally there will be medical fitness test.

Educational qualification certificate(s) in proof of age and educational qualification, Driving Licence and etc., issued by a recognized University/Board duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
Candidates must enclose 2 Nos. self-addressed envelope with affixed postal stamp of Rs.22/- and 2 Nos. self-signed passport size photographs.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay fee of Rs.50/- in the form of Crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of the officer mentioned in column 2 (refer the advt.)
No application fee is applicable for SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates.

The envelope containing the application form should be super scribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OFCONSTABLE/DRIVER IN CISF - 2013".

Last Date of Application: Application should be sent to the concerned DIG of CISF (address list provided on the Advt. available in the below) so as to reach on or before 9th April 2013 (16th April 2013 for residents of North East region).
