Directorate of Industries invites application from eligible candidates for the post of 145 Nos. Industries Inspector (Lower Grade)/ Extension Officer (Industries), Grade C posts. Eligible and interested candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below in brief —

Name of the Post: Industries Inspector (Lower grade)/ Extension Officer (Industries), Grade C.
Number of Vacancies: 145 Nos. (Gen—65; SC caste converted to Buddhist 10; ST—21; DT-A—3; NT-B—4; SBC—2; NT-C—11; NT-D—3; OBC—26)

Qualification Required: Degree in Science or a diploma in Chemical technology or mechanical or electrical or chemical engineering or electronic or textile or leather or automobile, metallurgy, telecommunication or radio engineering.
Preference will be given to the candidates who possess Degree in Engineering in any one of the above discipline.

Eligibility norms: Candidates must be domicile of Maharashtra for last continuous 15yrs. Candidates must know to read, write and speak in Marati.

Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade pay of Rs.4200/-

Age Limits: between 18yrs to 33yrs as on 01-07-2013. Upper age relaxation for reserved category is as per norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview. Exact date and venue of examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course through Admit card.

How to Apply: Apply on prescribed application format along with attested copies of testimonials (attestation should be done by Gazetted Officers) and Application Fee in form of Demand Draft.

Application Fee: Candidates will ing to apply for the post must deposit Application Fee of Rs.250 (Rs.150 for reserved category) in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of – “The Development Commissioner (Industries), Directorate of Industries, Maharashtra State, Mumbai" payable at Mumbai.
Candidates must write their name on the back side of the draft.

The envelope containing application form should be superscribe – “Application for the post of the INDUSTRIES INSPECTOR (LOWER GRADE) / EXTENSION OFF'ICER (INDUSTRIES), Group-C"

Candidates must address the application form to the respective District Industries Centers according to the place of their residence as per the postal address mentioned in their application forms. (For details, refer the advt. Link given below).

Last Date of the Application: The application form along with enclosures must reach on or before 25th March 2013.
