General Insurance Corporation of India (GIS) is recruiting 73 candidates in the cadre of Assistant Managers (Scale-I) in different discipline for its offices in India and abroad. Age Limits: Between 21yrs to 30yrs as on 01/03/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs; OBC—3yrs; PWD—10yrs; Widow/Divorcee—9yrs; Any other categories – as per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.17240—32640
The engagement to the above posts are on permanent basis. The selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Group Discussion and Interview
Written Test will be at – New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai (Refer the Advt. for details, link given below)
Candidates may download Call letters/ Admit card in due course from the official website of GIS.

Before applying Online candidates must prepare Demand Draft of Rs.500/- as Examination fee in favour – General Insurance Corporation of India and payable at – Mumbai. Candidates must write their full name and Registration number on the reverse side of DD.
SC/ST/PH candidates do not require to pay Examination Fee.
Candidates, after successful submission of Online application form, must print-out the system generated Acknowledgement Slip.
The Acknowledgement Slip along with D.D and Self-attested copies of testimonials/documents in support of qualification, age, caste and etc must be sent to the below address by Ordinary/ Speed Post.

Online Application form can be submitted till – 31st March 2013
Last Date to receive the Acknowledgement slip along with documents – 8th April 2013 at the following address – “The Advertiser-GIC Re, Post Bag No No781 Circus Avenue Post Office, KOLKATA – 700 017”.
