Gauhati High Court is inviting Online application for 287 posts of – Lower Division Assistant (LDA) and Copyist/ Typists, from the eligible candidates of Assam, under the jurisdiction of Gauhati High Court. Eligible candidates may apply Online. Advertisement No. SJ-09/2013.  Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —

GAUHATI HIGH COURTS REQUIRES 287 LOWER DIVISION ASSISTANT (LDAs) AND COPYIST/ TYPIST FROM THE ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES OF ASSAM. LAST DATE: 15/05/2013.

1. Lower Division Assistants (LDAs): 185 Nos.
2. Copyist/ Typists: 102 Nos.

Eligibility Criteria: 
Candidates must be permanent resident of Assam.
Age: Candidates must be between 18yrs to 38yrs (Upper age relaxation for SC/ST- 5yrs; OBC/MOBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs)

Qualification: Candidates must be Graduate or equivalent from a UGC recognized university.
Candidates must have proficiency in Computer Operation (MS Word, Excel, Spread sheet and Etc).

Extra 5 marks will be given as weightage to the candidates who have the following qualification  — B.Com or M.Com in Accountancy with Tally, BBA/MBA/MCA, B.SC (IT)/ M.Sc (IT), B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science, LL.B/ LL.M

The selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination (Objective types with multiple choices) and Viva-voce/ Interview. (For details, refer the Advt.)
Admit card for Written Examination/ Interview will be available online in due course which can be downloaded by entering Registration No. of the application form.

Application fee (for any one of the post): Candidates are required to pay Application fee of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/ for SC/ST/PWD candidates) by means of Fee Payment Challan through any branches of State Bank of India in the SBI Powerjyoti Account No.325 1228 4007.
Candidates may print-out the fee payment Challan from the court’s website (link below)

After successful submission of the online application form, a unique Registration ID will be displayed. Candidates must note-it down for future references. Candidates may view their submitted Application form and is encouraged to print-out it on plain paper for future use.

There is no need to send any application to anywhere. Verification of the documents will be during Interview, if called.

Last Date of Application: Online Application form can be made till 15th May 2013 (5 PM).
