Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. Preference may be given to those applicants who possess a Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Marketing/Management.
Applicant with good knowledge of English and Regional (local) language is desirable.
Knowledge of soft skills such as Power Point / Word / Excel would be additional advantage.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21yrs to 35yrs as on 01-06-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST - 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others - As per norms.

Remuneration: Monthly remuneration of DSE will be entirely performance based.

Selection steps: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test followed by Interview.
Written Test will be of Objective Type covering sales aptitude Test of Reasoning, Numerical Ability and General Knowledge. The date and venue of the written test, if to be conducted, will be communicated to the eligible candidates through email and will be also posted on the official website of LIC in due course.
Candidates successful in the written test will be called for an Interview.

Qualified candidate shall have to undergo insurance related training and pass a test on the same. The apprentice DSE shall be paid a fixed one‐time stipend of Rs 3500/‐ as per rules of the Scheme.
On successful completion of the apprenticeship and passing the test, the candidate shall be engaged as a Direct Sales Executive purely on contract basis subject to conditions framed by the Corporation.

Application Fee: Interested candidates will have to pay Application Fee of Rs.100/- by cash only at the cash counter during office hours only from any branch office of Life Corporation of India.
No Application Fee required for SC/ST candidates.

Before applying online, candidates must visit the site of LIC and print-out the Application fee challan. Through the print-out fee challan, they (candidates) should deposit the above prescribed fee at any branch of LIC.
After fee deposition, revisit the LIC’s website and start filling the online application.

Upon successful submission of Online application, a unique Registration number and Password is generated and displayed to the candidate. At the same time the Registration Number and Password are also emailed to the candidate. The candidate is given the option to print the application form after completing the application to keep for his/her reference. The candidate can also reprint the application subsequently till the last date for application by providing Registration Number and Password.

There is no need to send any application/ documents by post to anywhere.
