Staff Selection Commission (SSC) — Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2013. SSC is going to conduct All India Open Examination for recruitment to the posts of — Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk. Interested and eligible Higher Secondary pass Boys and Girls may apply for the examination. Application form may be submitted Online or Offline. Qualification norms and brief details are given below —
STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) IS GOING TO RECRUIT DATA ENTRY OPERATOR AND LOWER DIVISION CLERK THROUGH COMBINED HIGHER SECONDARY LEVEL (10+2) EXAMINATION, 2013. LAST DATE – 16/08/2013.
Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2013 for recruitment to the posts of Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk.
Number of vacancies in the post of Data Entry Operator & Lower Division Clerk will be determined in due course.
Educational Qualification: Class 12/ Higher Secondary pass.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination followed by Skill Test/ Typing Test. Written Examination and Skill Test for the post of Data Entry Operator and Written Test and Typing Test for the post of Lower Division Clerk on Computer.
Skill test for Data Entry Operator — Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer
Typing test for LDC will be conducted in English or Hindi, 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. respectively (as per option opted by the candidate) on computer.

Examination will be held at the respective centre of SSC across the country. Candidates may download their Admit card from the website of SSC about two weeks before the examination. Tentative date of Written Examination is 10/11/2013 and 17/11/2013.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18yrs to 27yrs as on 01.08.2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs; OBC—3yrs., PH—10yrs; Ex-servicemen and Others – As per norms.
Application Fee: Rs.100/- for OBC and General Candidates. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PH and Ex-serviceman eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.
Fee Payment Mode: Candidates applying online for the vacancies may submit their Application Fee by means of fee payment challan through any branches of State Bank of India. Fee challan can be print-out the official website of SSC.
Candidates apply offline, i.e. through hard copy of Application form, may pay the Application Fee in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp which can be purchased from the counter of Post Office. (See the Advt. link below for complete details).
How to Apply: Candidates may apply either Online through the official website of SSC or Offline through prescribed application format. However Online mode is recommended over offline mode for fast and certainty.
In case of Online Application form, candidates must first submit the Part-I application and then shall proceed to Part-II application after depositing the above prescribed Application Fee. (See the below link for details).
After successful submission of online Application form, candidates must print-out the system generated Registration Slip which will appear with unique Registration Number. There is no need to send the print-out copy to the commission.
Candidates applying Offline, i.e. through prescribed application format, the Application form must be submitted at the concerned Regional/Sub-Regional office of the Commission keeping in view the Centre of examination chosen by him/her. (See the Advt.)
