18 Field Ammu Depot, C/O 56 APO, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, is recruiting 61Candidates for the posts of – “Fireman”, “Carpenter” and “Mazdoor”. Madhyamik Passcandidates who meets the below mentioned criteria may apply for the post of prescribedapplication format. Qualification norms and eligibility norms is given below —
18 FIELD AMMUNITION DEPOT REQUIRES 61 FIREMAN, CARPENTER AND MAZDOOR. APPLY ON PRESCRIBED FORM. LAST DATE: 05/04/2013.
1. FIREMAN (GROUP-C): 4 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1; OBC—1). Out of total 1 Nos. is reserved for PH (Hearing) candidate.
Qualification Required: Matriculation. Candidates must meet the following physical standards—
Height—165cms (162.5cms for ST)
Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded): 81.5/ 85cms
Weight: 50 Kgs (Minimum)
Endurance Test :
(i) Carrying a weight of 63.5Kg to a distance of 183 metres within 96 seconds.
(ii) Clearing 2.7 mtrs wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump)
(iii) Climbing of 3mtrs vertical rope using hands and feet.
(iv) Passing a timed run.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay of Rs.1900/-
2. MAZDOOR (GROUP-C): 56 Nos. (Gen—28; SC—16; OBC—12). Out of total 6nos. reserved for Ex-Serviceman; 2nos. for Meritorious Sportsperson and 2nos. for PH (Hearing/ Orthopedic)
Qualification Required: Matriculation. Candidates must be physically fit and be capable of performing strenuous duties.
There will be Physical Endurance Test and test of Passing a timed run.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay of Rs.1800/-
3. CARPENTER (GROUP-C): 1 Nos. (General)
Qualification Required: Matriculation AND ITI trade certificate in the filed of 3yrs duration OR experience of actual work in the trade.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay of Rs.1900/-
Age Limits (For all posts): Between 18yrs to 25yrs as on last date of the application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs; OBC—3yrs; PH—10yrs; Sportsperson—5yrs and Ex-Serviceman—as per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test (as well as Physical Measurement and Endurance test, as applicable for the post).
Test/ Interview will be held at 18 Field Ammunition Depot. Exact date and venue will be intimated in due course through Acknowledgement Card to the eligible candidates.
How to Apply: Interested candidates fulfilling the above norms may submit their application on prescribedapplication format (link given below) along with attested copies of documents and testimonials.
Candidates must print-out or prepare the application form and Acknowledge Card on two different sheets (Good quality A4 size paper can be used) as per given format.
Enclose the following documents (Attestation done by Gazetted Officers) with the form—
- Copy of Educational Certificate
- Copy of Birth Certificate/ Age proof documents.
- Caste certificate, in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates
- Copy of PH Certificate/ Certificate of Meritorious sportsperson, where applicable.
- Discharge certificate in case of Ex-Serviceman
- 2nos. attested copies of passport size photographs (one copy pasted on the form and other copy on the Acknowledgement card – both copy must be attested by Gazetted Officer)
- One self-addressed envelope with affixed postal stamp of Rs.22/-
Superscribe the top of the application form containing envelope with – “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____”.
The application form must reach the below address by Registered Post.
Last Date of the Application: Application form must reach on or before 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News (i.e. Last date of application form is – 05/04/2013)
