Delhi Police is recruiting 1088 Temporary Constable (Executive) and Constable (Dog Handler) in Delhi Police. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —
DELHI POLICE REQUIRES 1088 TEMPORARY CONSTABLE (EXECUTIVE) AND CONSTABLE (DOG HANDLER). LAST DATE: 28-02-2013.
1. Constable (Executive) Male:
Numbers of vacancies revised to - 523 Nos. (Gen-262; SC-79; ST-40; OBC-142)
2. Constable (Dog Handler) Male: 43 Nos. (Gen—21; OBC—12; SC—6; ST—4)
Qualification Required: 10+2 or equivalent.
For Constable (Executive) — Candidates must posses a valid driving licence for Light Motor Vehicle.
For Constable (Dog Handler) — Candidates must have adequate knowledge about the care and handling of dogs including knowledge of vaccinations and common diseases of the dogs/ different diet and requirement.
Age Limits: Between 18yrs to 21yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; Sportsperson and others—as per norms.
Physical Standards: —
Height: 170 cms (Relaxable by 5 cms for resident of hill areas/ ST candidates or Sons of either serving, retired or deceased Delhi Police personnel/ Multi-Tasking staff of Delhi Police).
Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded) : 81 cms/ 85 cms. (Relaxable by 5 cms for resident of hill areas/ ST candidates or Sons of either serving, retired or deceased Delhi Police personnel/ Multi-Tasking staff of Delhi Police).
Application fee: Candidates should pay Rs.100/- in form of Demand/ Bank draft/ Banker's cheque, drawn in favour of – DCP/ Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi.
SC/ST and Ex-Serviceman candidates is exempted form Application fee.
