Steel Authority of India (SAIL), is recruiting 640 candidates for the posts of Management Trainee (Technical) and Management Trainee (Administration) in E-1 grade. Eligible candidates may apply Online from the official website of SAIL. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —

1. Management Trainee (Technical): 558 Nos. (Gen—268; OBC—169; SC—79; ST—42)
Discipline wise Vacancies—
— Mechanical: 157 Nos.
— Electrical: 88 Nos.
— Metallurgy: 88 Nos.
— Electronics: 89 Nos.
— Instrumentation: 61 Nos.
— Chemical: 26 Nos.
— Ceramics: 16 Nos.
— Civil: 19 Nos.
— Computer Sc.: 9 Nos.
— Mining: 5 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Engineering (full time) with 65% marks in the discipline of Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Electronics, Instrumentation, Ceramics, Civil, Computer Science (IT), Mining or Chemical Engineering. For Computer Science discipline - MCA (3 years full time) with 65% marks (average of all semesters) are also eligible.
N.B: For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the required percentage in above qualification is 55% marks.

2. Management Trainee (Administration): 82 Nos. (Gen—39; OBC—27; SC—11; ST—5)
Discipline wise Vacancies—
— Finance: 21 Nos.
— Materials: 18 Nos.
— Marketing: 5 Nos.
Qualification requirement is as follows—
— For HR, Marketing and Materials: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 60% marks with at least two years full time MBA/PG Diploma in Management with 60% marks in Human Resources/Personnel Mgmt. &Industrial Relations/Personnel Mgmt./Masters in Human Resources & Organizational Development for HR discipline,Marketing for Marketing discipline and Production/Operations/Materials/Logistics & Supply Chain Mgmt. for Materials discipline.
— For MT Finance: CA/ ICWA
N.B: For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the required percentage in above qualification is 50% marks.

Age Limits: Maximum 30yrs as on 01-03-2013. Upper age relaxation is as per norms.

Physical Standards of the candidates—
For Management Trainee (Technical): Weight 45 kg; Height 155 cm.
For Management Trainee (Administration): Weight 45 kg; Height 150 cm.
Suitable relaxation in height and weight will be given to female candidates.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Group Discussion and Interview. Admit card will be provided to the eligible candidates in due course.
Admit card will be available to download from 13/05/2013 from the SAIL’s website.

How to Apply: Apply Online through SAIL’s website — www.sail.co.in

Before applying online, candidates must pay the application fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
Fee can be paid through net-banking/credit card/debit card or through pay-in-slip. For Offline mode, candidates must print-out the pay-in-slip from the SAIL’s website and should deposit the prescribed amount in a specially opened account (No.32286155304) at CAG Branch, New Delhi, on behalf of SAIL. (Refer the Advt. link given below)

After final submission of Online Application; print-out the Registration slip and retain safely for future use.
There is no need to send any documents to the SAIL. Verification will be done during selection steps.

Last Date of the Application: Apply Online from dated 12/03/2013 to 03rd April 2013.
