West Bengal Health & Family Welfare Samity is going to recruit 25 Nos. “Family Planning Counselor” for Medical College Hospitals and District Hospitals of different districts of West Bengal on contractual basis. Name of the Post: Family Planning Counselor (Female candidates only)
Number of Vacancies: 25 nos. (SC—6; ST—2; OBC-A—2; OBC-B—2; General—13). Out of total, 2nos. is reserved for person with disabilities.
Educational qualification: Graduation in Social Science and knowledge of Computer (in application like MS Office)
Candidates must have fluency in Bengali and English languages in writing and speaking.
Candidates with Master degree in Social Science is desirable.
Experience: Two years working experience in Social Sector or Health Sector. Preferable one year experience in counseling services.
Preference will be given to the candidates having higher qualification and higher experience in the relevant area.
Age Limits: Maximum 40yrs as on 01-01-2013. Relaxation for age is as per norms.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.13560/- per month.
Selected candidates will be posted at the following districts of West Bengal — Bankura, Birbhum, Burdwan, Coochbehar, Darjeeling, Dakshin Dinajpur, Hoogly, Howrah, Jalpaiguri, Malda, Murshidabad, Nadia, North 24 Parganas, Purba Medinipur, Paschim Medinipur, Purulia, South 24 Parganas, Uttar Dinajpur and Kolkata.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test on RCH issues, Counselling and Basic Computer Applications.
