Union Bank of India (UBI) is inviting Online application for 349 posts of “Specialist Officer” in the discipline of – Asst. General Manager (IT), Chief Manager (IT Network), Senior Manager (IT Network), Credit Officers MMGS-III, Printing Technologist, Security Officer, Company Secretary and Economists. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —

Name of the posts and number of vacancies are as follows —
1. Asst. General Manager (IT): 1 Nos.
Post Code—01
Qualification: M.Tech/B.Tech/B.E/(Computer Science/Electronics/ Electronics and Communication) from a UGC recognized University / AICTE approved Institution with minimum 60% marks in the final year of Graduate Degree course. Candidates should posses any one of the following certificates — CISA/ CISM/ CISSP
Experience: minimum 10yrs (refer the advt.)
Age Limits: 21yrs to 45yrs.

2. Chief Manager (IT Network): 1 Nos.
Post Code—02
Qualification: M.Tech/B.Tech/B.E/(Computer Science/Electronics/ Electronics and Communication) / MCA from a UGC recognized University / AICTE approved Institution with minimum 60% marks .( 55% for Reserved Category candidates) in the final year of Graduate Degree course AND Certification in the networking Technology.
Experience: Minimum 7yrs post qualification experience (Refer the Advt.)
Age Limits: 21yrs to 43yrs.

3. Senior Manager (IT Network): 1 Nos.

Qualification: M.Tech/B.Tech/B.E/(Computer Science/Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/ MCA from a UGC recognized University / AICTE approved Institution with minimum 60% marks .( 55% for Reserved Category candidates) in the final year of Graduate Degree course.
Certification in the Networking area (CCNA/CCNP) is desirable.
Experience: Minimum 5yrs post qualification experience (refer the advt.)
Age Limits: 21yrs to 40yrs.

4. Credit Officers – MMGS-III: 336 Nos.
Post Code—04
Qualification: Degree or equivalent with 60% marks in the final year of Graduate Degree course.( 55% for Reserved Category candidates). For candidates who have acquired professional qualifications like C.A /I.C.W.A / C.S after completing std XII and without completing the Graduation, the requirement of minimum qualification of Graduation will be waived.
Candidates must have done computer course covering Basic, DOS, MS Office, Internet and etc.
Experience: 5yrs experience (refer the advt.)
Age Limits: 21yrs to 40yrs.

5. Printing Technologist: 1 Nos.

Qualification: Graduate Degree in Printing Technology with 60% marks in the final year of Graduate Degree Course (55% for Reserved Category candidates) AND Computer course of minimum 60hrs duration (not applicable for candidates studied computer as a subject at Graduation/ Post Graduation level)
Experience: minimum 10yrs post qualification experience (refer the advt.)
Age Limits: 21yrs to 40yrs.

6. Security Officer: 6 Nos.
Post Code—06
Qualification: Graduate Degree in any discipline with 60% marks in final year (55% for reserved category) AND Computer course of minimum 60hrs duration (not applicable for candidates studied computer as a subject at Graduation/ Post Graduation level)
Experience: minimum 5yrs as an Officer in Indian Army or equivalent rank and service in Police and Central Para Military forces/ Central Police Organization.
Age Limits: 21yrs to 50yrs.

7. Company Secretary: 1 Nos.

Qualification: Graduate Degree with minimum 60% marks ( 55% for Reserved Category candidates) in the final year of Graduate course and Associate Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS) and Computer course of minimum 60hrs duration ((not applicable for candidates studied computer as a subject at Graduation/ Post Graduation level)
Experience: Minimum 3yrs (refer the advt.)
Age Limits: 21yrs to 35yrs.

8. Economists: 2 Nos.
Post Code—08
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Economics / Econometrics with 50% marks in the final year of Post Graduation (45% for Reserved Category candidates) AND 55% marks in the final year of Graduation (50% for Reserved Category candidates) And computer certificate course of minimum 60hrs duration (55% marks in the final year of Graduation(50% for Reserved Category candidates)
Experience: 2yrs Post Qualification experience (Refer the Advt.)
Age Limits: 21yrs to 35yrs.

Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per norms. Age will be counted as on 01/02/2013

Interested candidates may apply for any one of the post. Applying more than one post can lead to cancellation.
The selected candidate will be on Probation for a period of 24 months (2 years) of active service from the date of his / her joining the Bank.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination , Group Discussion and Personal Interview. (Refer the advt. link given below for details)
