Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is recruiting 126 Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ Para Medical Staff in the following posts — SI/Staff Nurse, SI/Radiographer, ASI/Physiotherapist, ASI/Pharmacist, ASI/Lab Tech, ASI/OT Tech, ASI/Dental Tech, HC/X-Ray Asst, HC/Lab Asst. , HC/Steward, CT/Cook, CT(Ward Boy/Girl, CT/Table Boy) under the arrangement of Composite Hospital, CRPF, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Guwahati. CENTRAL RESERVE POLICE FORCE (CRPF) RECRUITING 126 GROUP – B / C PARA MEDICAL STAFF. APPLY WITHIN 26/06/2013 (04/07/2013 FOR FAR FLUNG’S)
1. SI/ Staff Nurse: 2 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Intermediate or 10+2 and 3 ½ years course in General Nursing and Midwifery and must be registered with Nursing Council as a General Nurse and Mid wife
2. SI/ Radiographer: 13 Nos. (Gen—7; OBC—4; SC—1; ST—1)
Qualification: Intermediate or 10+2 with Science as a subject AND Diploma or certificate of 2 years course in Radio diagnose from recognised Institution.
3. ASI/ Physiotherapist: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Intermediate or 10+2 with Science as a subject AND Bachelor in Physiotherapy or 3 yrs diploma in Physiotherapy.
4. ASI/ Pharmacist: 29 Nos.
Qualification: Intermediate or 10+2 AND 2yrs diploma or Degree in Pharmacy. Candidates must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy act.
5. ASI/ Lab Tech: 3 Nos. (OBC)
Qualification: Matriculation with Science as a subject AND Diploma or Certificate in Medical laboratory Technology.
6. ASI/ OT Technician: 6 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—4; Ex-Serviceman – 1)
Qualification: Matriculation with Science as a subject AND Certificate of Operation Theatre Assistant Course or Operation Theatre Assistant cum Central sterile supply assistant training.
7. ASI/ Dental Tech: 9 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC—4; ST—1; Ex-Serviceman – 1)
Qualification: Matriculation with Science as a subject AND 2yrs of dental hygienist course recognised by Dental Council of India.
8. HC/ X-Ray Asst.: 1 Nos. (OBC)
Qualification: Matriculation with Science as a subject AND Diploma or Certificate of 2yrs course in Radio diagnosis.
9. HC/ Lab Asst.: 1 Nos. (OBC)
Qualification: Matriculation with Science as a subject AND Certificate of Laboratory Assistant’s course.
10. HC/ Steward: 12 Nos. (Gen—7; OBC—4; Ex-Serviceman –1)
Qualification: Matriculation AND Diploma in Food and Beverage services.
11. CT/ Cook: 10 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC—3; SC—2; ST—1; Ex-Serviceman – 1)
Qualification: Matriculation AND one year experience as Cook.
12. CT/( Ward boy/girl): 35 Nos. (Gen—20; OBC—9; SC—3; ST—0; Ex-Serviceman – 3)
Qualification: Matriculation and possessing First Aid Certificate from St. John Ambulance Organization/ Red Cross Society of India.
13. CT/ Table Boy: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation and One year Experience in hotel/ Defence services Messes/ Mess.
Age Limits:—
For SI: Between 18yrs to 30yrs as on last date of the application.
For ASI: Between 20yrs to 25yrs as on 01/08/2013.
For HC: Between 18yrs to 23ys as on 01/08/2013.
For CT: Between 18yrs to 23yrs as on 01/08/2013.
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs, OBC—3yrs and Ex-Serviceman as per norms.

Physical Standards of the candidates: —
Height: 170 cms (162.5cms in case of ST) for Male candidates; 157 cms (150cms in case of ST) for Females candidates.
Chest (Un expanded/ Expanded): 80cms/ 85cms and 76cms/ 81cms for ST candidates. Not applicable for female candidates.
Eye Sight: minimum distance vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of 2 eyes without correction.
Weight: as per medical standards proportionate to height and age.
For cut-off in physical standards in case of candidates from Hill areas and Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Laddakh regions of J&K, please refer the advt. link given below.
The engagement to the above posts will be initially engaged on temporary basis but likely to be permanent.
Selection of the candidates will be through – documents verification, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Examination, Interview/ Trade Test and finally Medical Examination. Refer the Advt. for details.
Physical Efficiency Test through which candidates shall go through —
Race: 1 mile race in 7.5 minutes (800 Mtr. Race in 6 minutes for female candidates)
Long jump: 10 feet (6 feet for female candidates) in 3 chances
High jump: 3 feet (2.5 feet for female candidates) in 3 chances
